Fantasy Island

This is what it looked like the other day when we had the awesome Fantasy Island activity!

The kids, leaders and JC's were divided into groups, and each group had to create a fantasy island.
The children and leaders had to cooperate and agree on what their island should be like, what the language of the island should be, what the name should be, etc.

It was challenging to work together, but the kids did a great job in overcoming obstacles such as language barriers.

It can some times be tricky to communicate when you have no common language, or when you have a limited knowledge of English, which is the lingua franca here at camp, but the kids are amazingly good at it!

By the end of the activity, we had several fantasy islands, all different from each other.

The groups had to go on stage and present their island in front of everyone, and it was a lot of fun!

We were gathered in the big theater to do this activity, look at how nice it is with all the different flags decorating the walls!
