Every night before bed time here at Sunny Hill, we all gather in the Lullabies Room to tune out and have a little sing-along. Our Lullabies Room is situated in the girls' dorms, and when we are all together, we can barely fit in there - so it's time to get cozy! We sing songs about peace, love, friendship and a yellow submarine, and by the end of the session, we sing good night to each delegation/JC in their language:
It's time to say good night,
the stars are shining bright!
Tomorrow we'll meet our friends again,
so let's say good night 'till then.
There goes our friends from Norway,
we hope that they'll sleep well!
We all say: god natt! to them,
and tomorrow we'll meet again!
with the sun shining brightly outside, It is hard to believe that it is actually lullaby time! I am sure kids will soon get used to it.

Hi Suha, thank you for your comment! We do have some confused children and leaders at camp, who keep waking up at strange hours because it is completely light outside... but they will get used to it, we're sure :)
ReplyDeleteGod natt!
